Industry 5.0 bootcamp

The IEEE IES/PES ISIMS SBJC , in collaboration with the IEEE CEDA Tunisia Chapter, IEEE Lebanon IES/PES/CASS/PELS Joint Chapter, and IEEE IES GJU, organized the Industry 5.0 Bootcamp , a three-session program designed to introduce key concepts shaping the next phase of industrial development.

The bootcamp began with a session by Mr. Madyouni Ayoub, who presented the transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0. He explained how the focus is shifting from full automation toward a more human-centered approach, where advanced technologies support human creativity and decision-making.

The second session, led by Dr. Amira Zayla, focused on human-machine collaboration and sustainability. She outlined how integrating intelligent systems with human input can improve efficiency while maintaining environmental and social responsibility, emphasizing the importance of sustainable innovation.

In the final session, Eng. Omar Abu Alhaj addressed ethics in Industry 5.0. He discussed the challenges related to responsible technology use, including data privacy, fairness, and the societal impact of emerging systems.

Overall, the bootcamp provided participants with a structured understanding of Industry 5.0, while also leaving a meaningful impression. Beyond the technical insights, it encouraged participants to think more critically about their role in shaping the future, fostering a sense of responsibility and motivation to contribute to a more balanced, human-centered technological world.
