Our Mission

The IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA) provides a focal point for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) activities across IEEE. We encompass a diverse range of technical activities devoted to combining the theory and practice of EDA for the enhancement of modern electronic systems.

Our Vision

To serve the EDA community globally by ensuring that IEEE programs and services meet the evolving needs of professionals in this area. CEDA promotes the engineering process of creating, developing, integrating, sharing, and applying knowledge about design automation for the benefit of humanity.

Field of Interest

The CEDA field of interest includes the theory, implementation, and application of Electronic Design Automation tools and methodologies for designing electronic networks and systems.

History

The IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation was established to foster collaboration across multiple IEEE societies in the field of EDA. The Council has grown into a vibrant global community of researchers, academics, and industry professionals.

The CEDA Tunisia Chapter was established to serve the growing community of EDA enthusiasts and researchers across Tunisia's engineering schools and universities.
